This classic itinerary focuses on three of Tanzania’s premier wilderness destinations, giving guests quality wildlife viewing without rushing between too many parks. The route and price structure are broadly consistent with current private mid-range Tanzania safari offerings.
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart from Arusha for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive followed by an exciting afternoon game drive.
Accommodation: Luxury Lodge/Tented Lodge
Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Highlights: Elephants, baobab trees, lions, giraffes, zebras and diverse wildlife.
Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy spectacular scenery and wildlife viewing en route before entering the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive.

Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti Wilderness Safari
Enjoy a full day exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti. Your private safari guide will take you in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, wildebeest and zebras.
A picnic lunch will be served in the wilderness.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 metres into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive.
The crater offers excellent opportunities to see the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch, drive back to Arusha, where your safari ends.
