Ngorongoro Crater, a majestic volcanic caldera, offers visitors breathtaking scenery. Covering a vast area of 102 square miles, the crater is a natural wonder with a rim towering 2,000 feet above the caldera floor.

The human presence in Ngorongoro Crater dates back to ancient times, as evidenced by numerous hominid remains. The area houses two world-famous archaeological sites, Oldupai Gorge and Laetoli.
