This itinerary is designed for a premium private safari experience, combining luxury accommodation, exceptional wildlife viewing, and Tanzania’s most iconic Northern Circuit destinations. Tarangire is known for its elephants and baobabs, while the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and the surrounding circuit offer some of the country’s signature safari experiences.
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart from Arusha for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive followed by an exciting afternoon game drive.
Accommodation: Luxury Lodge/Tented Lodge
Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Highlights: Elephants, baobab trees, lions, giraffes, zebras and diverse wildlife.
Day 2: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park – Karatu
Enjoy breakfast before departing for Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. Later, continue to the Karatu highlands and relax at your luxury lodge.
Accommodation: Luxury Lodge in Karatu
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Highlights: Tree-climbing lions, flamingos, elephants and spectacular Rift Valley scenery.
Day 3: Karatu – Central Serengeti
After breakfast, drive through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Central Serengeti, with wildlife viewing and scenic stops along the way.
Arrive in the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive before checking into your luxury camp.

Day 4: Full Day Safari in Central Serengeti
Enjoy a full day exploring the endless plains of Central Serengeti, one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations.

Day 5: Full Day Serengeti Game Drive
Another full day of game viewing allows you to explore different areas of the Serengeti in search of the Big Five and other wildlife.
Depending on the season, your safari can also be planned around the Great Migration.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive as you depart the Serengeti. Continue through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and arrive at your luxury lodge near the crater.
Spend the evening relaxing and enjoying spectacular views.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable 6-hour game drive.
The crater is one of the best places in Tanzania to see the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino. After lunch, drive back to Arusha, where the safari ends.
