If you want to see Tanzania’s top parks but have limited time, this 4-day adventure is for you. You will visit the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and either Lake Manyara or Tarangire.

This trip is excellent for those with a busy schedule. You will spend one night in the Serengeti, giving you a chance to see its famous wildlife. If you are eager to see the highlights in just a few days, this tour is perfect for you.

This 5-day adventure takes you through some of Southern Tanzania’s most breathtaking landscapes—from the open plains of Mikumi, to the vast wilderness of Ruaha, and the lush rainforests of Udzungwa Mountains. Each day offers a unique mix of wildlife encounters, scenic drives, and cultural highlights, giving you a well-rounded and unforgettable safari experience.

Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park or Tarangire National Park

Your adventure starts at 8 AM with a pickup from your hotel. You will enjoy a scenic drive across the Great Rift Valley for a full-day safari in Lake Manyara National Park. This park has lush forests, tall fig and mahogany trees, and many animals like baboons, blue monkeys, giraffes, and elephants.

You will see buffalo grazing against the beautiful lake, which is great for photos. You can also choose optional activities like biking or a boat ride before returning to camp for dinner.

Note: You can go to Tarangire National Park instead or add an extra day to visit both parks.

Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. You will travel to Tarangire National Park, known for its tall baobabs and large elephant herds.

You will explore this “home of giants” on exciting game drives, where you can see elephants, wildebeests, zebras, and buffalo near scenic lagoons. You will have a picnic lunch in the beautiful landscape before heading to your lodge for the night.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will travel to the famous Serengeti National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands, with a stop at the crater rim for stunning views.

The vast Serengeti is known for its “endless plains,” the Great Migration, and many animals, including lions, cheetahs, and over 500 types of birds. You will see wildlife along the way before reaching your lodge for a restful night.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti. This is the best time to see predators and enjoy a beautiful African sunrise. After a filling brunch back at camp, you will travel to the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the 8th Wonder of the Natural World.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site covers 102 square miles and is home to rare black rhinos, large elephants, and colorful flamingos. With its rivers, forests, open plains, and soda lakes, Ngorongoro offers a unique safari experience. You will arrive in time for a sundowner.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

Begin with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, which is one of the most amazing wildlife areas in the world. You will take a morning game drive surrounded by beautiful scenery and diverse wildlife, followed by a picnic lunch by Hippo Lake.

After one last short safari drive, we will head back up the crater toward Arusha. You should arrive around 5 PM, with flexible timing to fit your flights or other travel plans.
